Peter Wrather B.V.M&S, M.R.C.V.S
shares the partnership of the practice with his son, Tony.
Peter qualified as a Vet from Edinburgh University in
1965. He worked in Scotland until 1970 at which point
he moved to Cheshire and has worked in Chester since then.
Peter established Barnhouse Veterinary Surgery in 1992
and now works on a part-time basis. Peter has a Labrador
called Sam and two Scottie's called Morag and Jock. |

Tony Wrather B.V.M&S, M.R.C.V.S
spent his childhood in Chester and was educated at the
Kings School before attending Edinburgh University and
qualifying as a Vet in 1997. After gaining experience
in Veterinary Practice in Essex and Cheshire, he joined
Barnhouse in 2001. Tony has a keen interest in orthopaedics
and all aspects of companion animal surgery. Tony now
takes on most of the responsibility for Barnhouse and
would welcome your comments and suggestions. Tony has
a very lively young black Labrador called Lilly. |

Stephen Flynn B.V.M.S, M.R.C.V.S
qualified as a Vet from Glasgow University in 1992. Before
joining the Barnhouse team in January 2007 Steve worked
in several small animal Practices in the UK. He has an
interest in all aspects on General Practice. When not
despairing over Rafa's rotation policy, Steve likes nothing
better than being pulled up a hill by his dog Sebbie.

June Mollart Evans joined the Practice
in 2007 as our new Practice Manager and has over 17 years business
and management experience. June came to us from the Mobility
Industry where she shared great empathy with the disabled community
and will be able to draw upon all her skills and experience
in her position here. She has a very bold Yorkshire Terrier
called Tiny and a Lop Eared rabbit called Sparkles. |

Kate Yalland R.V.N. qualified as
a Veterinary Nurse in 2003 and has worked at Barnhouse
since March 2003. Kate enjoys surgical nursing and has
a particular interest in Nurse Clinics, where she can
pass on her experience and training to owners on all aspects
of animal care including: diet, weight watching, puppy
training, health education, senior pets, dental care and
animal behaviour. Kate has a very friendly black cat called
Elvis. |

Julie Owens R.V.N. qualified as a
Veterinary Nurse in 2007 and joined the Practice in September
2007. Julie is currently training to be a Veterinary Nurse
Assessor and helps to assess and tutor Trainee Veterinary
Nurses at the Practice. In her spare time, Julie enjoys
walking her two dogs Harvey and Shadow. |

Katie Campbell joined the Practice in May
2004 and is currently studying to become a Qualified Veterinary
Nurse through a National Training Programme. Katie has a horse
called Pepsi and an extremely lively Labrador cross called Sam. |

Claire Oldfield joined the practice
in January 2009 as a daytime receptionist. Claire has
always had a passion for animals and has very handsome
12 year old Saluki Greyhound called Nev. |

Angela Turner joined the practice in June
2008 as an Evening and Weekend Receptionist. Angela has
a love for all animals, especially Bella her 14 year old
spaniel and her recent addition of two cocker spaniel
puppies. |
